This was perfect for cutting out letters for some cookies for a reunion. They were easy to use with fondant, except sometimes it was difficult to get the letters out. Dipping in a little powdered sugar helped.

I was really surprised how nice these were when I recieved them. I wanted a bigger cutter for making large biscuits and also to make shortcakes for strawberries. They are sharp and have come in handy for other items like monster cookies.

I got this cutter for my baking class (culinary school). It's great for a students' budget (compared to the plastic ones made in France that costs five times as much) but the downside is it will rust (the cutter and the inside of the tin) if one does not properly clean/dry it. Mine does not have the size markings on the actual cutters so I had to measure mine before using it (for very picky chef instructors!). Just take good care if it and it will treat us well!

Little pricey for what you get, but if you need a hexagon cutter, what else are you going to do?

Quality is good, but be warned, the hexigon is not 100% smooth on the outside. There is a place where the tin overlaps and joins that will not give you a clean negative (if that is what you want)

My 3 year old daughter never ate sandwiches until I cut them into shapes. The circles are some of her favorites. She lines them up by size on her plate and it makes lunch fun (and she actually eats!)

I always wash them by hand and cut a paper towel to fit inside the tin, that way any extra cumbs are visible and I can clean them up and the paper towel is easy and quick to replace.
